Beginning this year, we are providing our proxy statement and 2008 annual report to our stockholders via the Internet, as allowed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. You will not receive a printed copy of the proxy materials unless you request them, in which case we will provide the proxy materials at no charge to you. Rather, you will receive only a notice card in the mail containing an Internet address where you can:
- access all of the proxy materials,
- vote your shares over the Internet or by telephone, and
- request a printed copy of the proxy materials, including a proxy card on which you may submit your vote by mail
The notice card you receive contains your unique control number, which you need to vote your shares over the Internet or by telephone and to request a printed copy of the proxy materials.
Why Are We Providing the Proxy Materials Over the Internet?
We are providing the proxy materials over the Internet because we believe this provides our stockholders more efficient access to them, and it reduces the financial and natural resources used to print, transport and mail the proxy materials.
